Beacon Dragway 4460 Shemwell Lane, Paducah, KY 42003 Beacon Dragway also features a state of the art timing system in place with scoreboards and illuminated towers.

Beacon Dragway provides racing for the following classes: Super Pro, No Box, Sportsman and Junior Dragster, and features a 36 foot wide and 170 foot long concrete burnout and launch pad. Other Park features include extensive parking with pit spot rentals, restaurant, and nearby campgrounds. Originally started as McCracken County Dragstrip in the 1960's and then transformed into a private airport, Beacon Dragway has finally emerged by area developer Keith Murt.

💥We will be running both 10k's Saturday💥

Everyone will get 1 time trial per entry Saturday morning at 9am.

New entry time trials only for the second 10k. New entry is defined as - The car or driver has not been down the track that day.

🚿Don't forget, we do have both men's and woman's showers. Free camping all weekend⛺️

🚨WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLAN🚨

Many have asked about Sunday's 10k with the potential of rain in the current forecast. First of all, I do not like combining races. That reduces how many winners you have on the weekend, aka lowers racer opportunity, and it typically lowers your buyback percentage due to a doubled buyback. Our goal at Beacon Dragway is to complete all main events at our races.

With that being said, if Sunday's forecast does not improve, we will run both main event 10ks on Saturday. At that point, the Saturday night gamblers would be canceled. For those that don't know, we have already had to do that twice this year.
