Join us to kick off National Safe Boating Week at the 16th Annual Safe Boating Expo at Channel Islands Harbor.

This family-friendly event is designed for both experienced boaters and those new to the water. Enjoy hands-on safety demonstrations, expert instruction, and live rescue simulations that highlight the importance of preparedness while enjoying Ventura County’s waterways and the Channel Islands.

Don’t miss:

- Live on-the-water search & rescue demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. featuring the United States Coast Guard and Ventura County first responders
- Public safety vessel tours (Coast Guard, Harbor Patrol, National Park Service, Sheriff’s Office & more)
- Safety demos: fire extinguishers, LED flares, life jackets, first aid, kayaking & scuba safety
