DRAGG Our Mission: Empowering our youth by creating dynamic, innovative experiences to discover their unlocked potential.

DRAGG is a youth automotive after-school program that encourages kids to stay in high school and work toward graduation by providing an incentive in the automotive industry through career exploration. DRAGG leverages the shared enthusiasm within the automotive industry by providing a common interest for students and mentors while building a positive connection. This creates an effective learning e

nvironment that leads to DRAGG students completing high school. Acquiring skills and referrals in the lucrative automotive and trade fields will lead them successfully into the workforce after graduation. Most importantly, students develop positive relationships with mentors in law enforcement and education, often receiving guidance and structure at a critical time in their transition to adulthood.

Full Circle Moment-
When the DRAGG Youth Automotive Program was founded in 2009 this little girl was just a toddler.  She watched from the sidelines as her dad, DRAGG’s Executive Director, worked tirelessly to build a program dedicated to helping teens gain hands-on automotive skills and confidence.
This Fall semester that same little girl was officially old enough to be a student in the very program that she grew up around.  From tiny hands to turning wrenches, her journey beautifully reflects the heart, purpose, and lasting impact of DRAGG. 🛠️🚔.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply for this year’s Car Giveaway.

The DRAGG students selected the top finalists and those individuals were contacted last week.

The winner will be announced TODAY at the Oxnard Police Department’s SANTA at the STATION event at 5pm.
