I heard the news a couple of hours earlier, but refused to believe it. Our friend Eddie Mattingly has passed away. Every once in a blue moon you get a customer that you know by their vehicle, call them by their first name, you know as soon as they pull in... it's going to be a good day... Well, Eddie was that customer. Everyone loved him up here. Always talked so highly of his wife and kids. Someone I aimed to be like as the years rolled by. He was so much bigger than this life. I thought he would be coming in until I retired... Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and Hell, anyone that ever met the man.... because if you did. You knew how good of day it was going to be.
