๐ข๐ช๐๐ก๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข, ๐๐ฌ โ On Sunday, the Midwest Mini Sprint Series rolled into Owensboroโs Windy Hollow Speedway for a night of dirt-track racing on the 3/8-mile speedway.
In total, eighteen sprints took to the track for a thrilling event that featured drivers from across the country.
Olney, Illinoisโ Johnson Ginder proved fast off of the truck with a fast-qualifying time of 13.734 seconds followed by Adam Hirsch and Ashton Loveless.
Ginder would show race speed in the first heat race as well, taking home his respective heat race win followed by Ashton Loveless and Brandon Coffee.
In the second heat race, Bristol Wisconsinโs Tucker Richards captured the win followed by Adam Hirsch and Nick McKannan.
Ginder would continue his Windy Hollow dominance in the feature, taking home the win followed by Tucker Richards and Brandon Coffee completing the podium.
In addition to the Mini-Sprints, Windy Hollow Speedway also hosted a regular night of racing featuring their local classes.
In the Economies, Maceoโs Barry Snyder took the No. 4 Crown Vic to victory lane followed by Richard Bloyd Jr and Morgan Vanover.
Russell Murray took home the win in the Bomber class followed by Bill Moorman, and Waymon Bratcher.
Mayfieldโs Trey Duncan was in a spirited battle with Jimmy Waters before Waters suffered a mechanical issue towards the end of the event. Greenvilleโs Michael Fletcher finished second followed by Travis McDaniel.
Owensboroโs James Embry picked up his seventh feature win in a row in the bomber division followed by Chad Boone, and James Dale Embry.
Beaver Damโs James Dockery took the checkered flag in the Crown Vic class followed by Richard Bloyd Jr and Mark van Winkle.
Jeff Maysey set fast time, won the heat race, and captured the feature win in the CRUSA Street Stock division. Nic Brooks finished second with Alex Love completing the podium.
Radcliffโs Brayden Shelton returned to victory lane in the Junior Crown Vics followed by Re*****on Meyer and Justin Case.
Windy Hollow Speedway will return to action on Sunday, October 11th.
