A few months ago, I took a chance that would change my life. I won’t lie. When I made the decision to start Mack’s Mobile Repair, LLC, I was terrified.
As a husband and father, taking a risk that could directly affect my family’s livelihood wasn’t an easy decision. There were a thousand reasons to play it safe, but there was one reason I couldn’t ignore: I believed in what I could build. I started with my tools, my truck, years of experience, a strong work ethic, and a dream.
I didn’t have an established business name. I didn’t have hundreds of reviews or a long list of customers. I had nothing to prove my business would succeed except my willingness to work hard and stand behind what I do, and then something incredible happened.
You all gave me a chance.
In the beginning, I spent a lot of time looking for opportunities, introducing myself, and hoping someone would trust me enough to give me a shot.
Today, thanks to all of you, my schedule stays full. My phone rings. My name gets recommended in conversations I’m not even part of. People I’ve never met reach out because someone else told them they could trust my work.
And recently, I’ve started receiving calls and opportunities from businesses I never imagined would know my name, much less consider working with me.
That’s something I don’t take lightly.
But one of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the relationships I’ve built along the way.
I’ve connected with other mechanics, shop owners, and business professionals who share the same goal: taking care of people and doing good work, and most of all, supporting our families. Instead of treating each other like competition, we’ve found opportunities to support one another, refer customers, share knowledge, and recognize where each other’s strengths lie.
There’s enough success out there for all of us, and it’s a pretty incredible thing when businesses choose to grow together instead of against each other.
I don’t know exactly what the future holds for Mack’s Mobile Repair, but I know we’re building something bigger than I originally imagined.
And I know I wouldn’t be standing here without the people who believed in me before I had a reputation to stand on.
So, from the bottom of my heart:
To every customer who has trusted me with their vehicle or equipment…
To everyone who has shared a post, left a review, tagged my business, or recommended my services…
To the other mechanics and businesses who have worked alongside me, sent customers my way, or welcomed referrals from me…
To everyone who has supported my family, encouraged this dream, or helped open a door I never expected…
THANK YOU.
You aren’t just supporting a small business. You’re helping a family build a future. You’re helping turn years of hard work into something lasting, and you’re reminding me every single day why taking that chance was worth it.
I may be the one turning the wrenches, but every single one of you has played a part in building this business.
We’re just getting started.
Thank you for being part of our story. 🔧
