With summer temperatures arriving, our phones have been ringing more frequently with customers experiencing weak A/C or a complete loss of cold air. One of the common culprits we’ve been finding is a failed evaporator coil hidden deep within the HVAC system. As these vehicles age, constant temperature fluctuations and normal wear can cause the evaporator core to corrode or develop small leaks that allow refrigerant to escape. While the diagnosis can be straightforward, the repair itself is quite extensive due to the evaporator’s location behind the dashboard, making it an invasive but necessary repair for proper air conditioning operation.

A clunk from the rear end is often one of the first warning signs that your differential may be on its way out. Whether it’s excessive wear, aging bearings, or low differential fluid, ignoring the issue rarely makes it better. With the rise in popularity of the BMW E46 M3, we’re starting to see more and more E46 wagons receiving full M3 conversions. But back when these cars were still in production, BMW was already ahead of the game and secretly built one of their own. The craziest part? They kept it hidden and denied its existence for years.

At this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, we finally got the chance to do a full walkaround and see the car in a rare public showing!

Over the weekend we found ourselves in what can only be described as automotive paradise. Between the Villa d’Este presented by , , and the incredible displays surrounding Villa Erba, Lake Como once again became the center of the automotive world. From some of the rarest collector cars ever built to enthusiast driven projects from our friends at , and , there was something for every enthusiast. We spent the weekend on our own little “BMW hunt” capturing everything from vintage legends to the brand new .official reveal… and somehow this still only scratches the surface. Between the insane cars and the awesome people we were there to enjoy it with, it doesn’t get much better than this.
