We are looking to start up a new 12-bay independent shop in the Bonner Springs area before year-end. Due to overflow from our other businesses, this shop will open with an immediate book of business. We are looking for AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIANS and a SHOP CO-OWNER to help start up this new location. The shop will perform mechanical repair on most vehicle makes and models, as well as light repair on semi trucks.
Prior technician experience is required
Service Manager experience is required
Unlimited earning potential
Responsibilities:
Perform work specified with efficiency in accordance with industry standards
Test drive vehicles and test components / systems using our diagnostic tools and equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
Communicate directly with the shop owner about additional service that is recommended
Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
Manage the shop schedule, pricing, parts inventory, etc.
Answer customer phone calls, emails, and texts
Requirements:
General knowledge of automotive repair / maintenance
Good computer skills
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
