Day 4 of working on the finishes..wet sand in the morning….dry and air out all day…last thing I do every day is another coat of clear…only to walk in the next morning to start the process all over again…

I had already made feet for the credenza, but the scale was off..we do detailed drawings, but sometimes, the appearance isn’t just right, once it becomes a real piece…

Flattening panels (more and again!!)

Trimming some of the panels down to final dimensions(nervous AF) I have been milling, planing, jointing, grain matching, and mitering for over a month…tomorrow I have help coming to assist with assembly of the filing caninet portion of the credenza …so I have to stop being sissy and start cutting, right?!

Doing the laborious task of making sure the credenza top is perfectly flat and true..we do not have a wide format sander, so I have to do this step by hand, the old fashioned way…using a straight edge and caliper
