2012 Chevy traverse with a know issue here and I'd have to say the weakest link in the entire belt system, it's an idler pulley with a mile long bolt that's known for breaking and causing your belt to come off and get wrapped around any and everything on its way out. Customer called and I was able to fit them in at a short notice, it was they're only vehicle and were in desperate need of repairs. I got in there and knocked it out in a short time they were more then happy and have been returning for more repairs. Hey all so sorry I've been so busy with all kinds of repairs and diagnostics lately I have not had the time to make some updates to the page. Here's a few projects I've been working on and a few that i got finished up, first off a timing belt on a 2002 audi s8 along with a water pump all new timing belt components, valve cover gaskets, plugs, coils, transmission service, and pads and rotors all the way around, this car is 1 of 4 with its options and paint code and also 1 of 340 audi s8s made in the 02 model year, this one is a rarity and it was truly a privilege to do the repairs! Hello!! Shane here from Murphys Mobile Mechanics! Sorry I haven't made an update in quite a while, lots of work and not enough time in a day to get it done. With that being said here's a few of the projects Ive either completed or I am currently working on. Some of these have been a doozy and some a cake walk. Just finished up a 2006 chrysler 300 limited, this one had some bad head gaskets! Tore down to inspect and found that the right hand side gasket was blown, sent out the heads to be pressure checked to be sure there's no cracks. Everything checked out, thankfully. Cleaned everything up and reinstalled the cylinder heads with all new gaskets and seals, new timing belt, rocker assemblies and gave it a good coolant flush, had some major gunk in it. Got some good drive time in and back to the customer it goes! If anyone needs any repairs done please don't hesitate to shoot me a message I'm always looking to keep the schedule full! Hey all! Little update here! Just finished up a 2013 gmc terrian 3.0l timing chain, this one had some major driveability issues as well as some crazy timing chain noise! Glad we fixed this one before it went south! Tore down cleaned up and re installed a new kit along with a new water pump and all 4 brake pads and rotors. Put some good miles on it and made sure all is well with no leaks and back to the customer she goes! Thank you again for choosing us for your auto repair needs!

Quick repair this morning for a gentleman with no brakes! 2015 Chrysler 200 popped a brake hose this morning before work. Stabbed some new brake Hoses on for him along with a new set of brake pads and rotors. I greatly appreciate the business. And I'm glad I was able to get it fixed so you are back up and moving!

On todays adjenda we have a 2011 ford fusion with no power steering due to a bad angle sensor in the main steering rack. Unfortunately the sensor is not serviceable and you have to replace the entire rack! What a pain but that's ok, I got a used rack from a salvage yard and got it installed in just a couple hrs in the customers driveway. Took for a drive to confirm everything is working as it should, thanks again for chosing us to do the repairs!

Quick set of 99-07 chevy Silverado rear axle shackles installed, dr side broke and went threw the bed. Pass side was cm from breaking and doing the same thing, glad I fixed em in time! Thanks again Kyle!

Just finished up a 2011 2.4l equinox timing chain replacement. This one was rough, just about cut the top guide right off! Thankfully I saved it in time before it let go and did some real damage! Thank you again for choosing Murphys Mobile Mechanics for the repairs! I hope it lasts a lifetime!

So sorry I haven't updated in a long time! My fiancee and I own and operate another company called Haywire Event Rental! We have been super busy this summer with rentals everywhere across mid Michigan. I have not had the time to do much other then that. Fall is starting to approach and we are starting to slow down a bit with school starting. but with that being said I will be doing more and more mechanics as winter approaches. I will be updating the page with my more recent repairs and be more up to date with things I have been doing.
