As we get closer to the end of another year and move in to our busy deer season for collision work, do yourself a favor. Check out your auto insurance policies. With the constant increase in paint & materials and supplies, some insurance company's still refuse to move forward with the changing times. How does that effect me you ask? Well when prices go up we have to ajust our prices. But the insurance company's don't adjust theirs , that means the added cost get pushed to the customer. Typically you don't know any of this until you need your vehicle fixed and at that point its to late. So who do you go with?
If your buying a new car ask the dealer for their opinion, if they have body shop they will be able to give some advice as to who is easier to work with, who do most of the customers that bring work to you have and How was the experience with that insurance company.
Ask a friend that you know that may have had an accident. How was there experience.
And if your still not sure , stop at your local shop. They will be glad to explain the process and what you should expect during a claim.
Do this before you need to use your insurance. Asking the questions up front will definitely help your claim go smoother when you need it.
The other thing that can really help move a repair in and out faster. Most places are limited on the number of loaner available. Having loaner car coverage means you will have much less time with out a vehical.
If any of our customers or friend's have any questions about insurance company's
Please feel free to stop in, i would be glad to help any answer any questions you may have about any of the process involved with getting a vehicle repaired.
