It’s been very busy here of late at WRE, these are just some of the engines/blocks that we currently have going through the shop at the moment. We have a nice mix of imca race engines, drag race engines, open class figure 8, several big block chryslers, several LS, ford flathead, ford y block, big block chevy and many different machine shop projects as well. (Not all pictured below)

385 C.I. Small Block Chevy mild performance engine we built earlier this year.

This engine was built with the intended use of being run on the street, but with a little added performance in mind as well. This engine sports a 4.040” bore size and 3.750” stroke crankshaft giving it its final displacement of 385 cubic inches. Many quality parts and pieces went into building this engine, some of those pieces include:

• GM 10066036 2 Piece rear main seal Mexican block (was a commonly used block in GM Targetmaster crate engines)

We’ve built a fair amount of these 383-388 C.I. small block stroker engines over the years, and they remain a popular combination in the street, strip, and dirt circle track world (where permitted to be run by sanctioning body rules).

355 C.I. demo derby engine we finished up a couple of weeks ago!

This 12.5:1 small block chevy featured a brand new short block with a refreshed top end, with all machine work being done by us in house. A few features and specs of this build include:

455 Pontiac Block that we did a couple of months back!

This block was brought to us for some pretty straightforward work. After giving the block a deep clean in our jet tank, we then bored + honed the cylinders for a set of oversized pistons. We then gave the block one more thorough wash and inspection before we installed new cam bearings and frost plugs.

The customer who brought this block to us was a new customer, and was a great guy to work with, we appreciate your business!
