Well today we worked on 3 different trucks just doing little bit to each one. End caps on one then wheels on the blue one. We did 2 fuel tanks and 1 hydraulic tank on the maroon one. The trailer wheels. Also the old man did a lot of hand polishing cleaning up the stainless steel box’s and few other parts.

This truck instantly became dads favorite truck. It’s from Dallas Texas just like him and he loved from the start. It’s all original over a million and a half miles on it and still has the same mud flaps and all. Not sure if it’s ever been polished but the last owner took really good care of it and I’d say the new owner will do the same. What a change a little shine on the aluminum can do to these trucks. There’s a lot of pictures but the change in this truck was worth all of them!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

I get asked a lot if I wear a respirator when doing this job. Yes and no. I wear it mainly when I’m doing a lot of sanding and less when I’m just polishing. Today is a good respirator day as I’m sanding a lot!! So here is my proof I wear it “sometimes”

We cleaned up this white peterbilt no sanding just a go over to shine it up some. Then we did a set of tanks on another truck afterwards. Nice easy day makes for a great day at work.

Well this is a fresh build. Been done a few weeks or less. They had someone else do the tanks and wheels but unfortunately the wheels still had sand marks in it and the tanks got a little banged up on the way home. We clean everything up got it looking right. Then the trailer we did the wheels and just the side rail on back and the front and rear tarp hump. This truck is a Beauty and stands out for sure. Great job on the build.

First job of the day was getting the rear wheels stripped and polished. We did the front a couple months back and owner realized the back ones are just not shiny enough so we did them and touched up the fronts. Shiny wheels makes a ride look way better!

Well this was my first tanker truck I did back in September 19 2024. Almost 2 full years. Last time it took 2 days to get it cleaned up this time 10 hours. It sure is nice getting those call backs to touch up your work especially if it’s been 2 years and still looks pretty good. The driver has taken good care of it and makes sure it washed on a regular basis with no acid !!!
