The 2026 Outlaw Kart Showcase kicks off TONIGHT at Cycleland Speedway!

Tonight is the Preliminary Night, and what happens on the track tonight will set the stage for Tuesday night’s finale. The Top 6 finishers in each division’s Main Event tonight will lock themselves into Tuesday’s Trophy Dash & Main Event!

🔥 TONIGHT’S FORMAT
Qualifying will set the Heat Race lineups, with the Fast Qualifier in each Heat starting 4th. If that Fast Qualifier can come from 4th and win the Heat, they are guaranteed the best available starting position for the Main Event.

There are no Trophy Dashes tonight. Wheel Spins will determine the front portion of tonight’s Main Event lineups, with the remaining karts lined up based on Heat Race finishes.

And remember — tonight isn’t just about winning Monday night. The Top 6 in each division lock into Tuesday, when the stakes get even bigger!

The highest-finishing Sportsman driver competing in Tuesday Night’s Open Class will receive a minimum $250 bonus!

🔥 This bonus may increase based on Sportsman kart count!

Eligibility:
• Driver must NOT have competed in any Open races on Sportsman Points Race Nights at Cycleland this season.
• Eligible Sportsman drivers may pull weight to meet the Open Class weight rule and do not have to maintain Sportsman weight.

💵 OPEN INTERMEDIATE BONUS — $250!

The highest-finishing Open Intermediate driver competing in Tuesday Night’s Open Class will receive a $250 bonus!

Eligibility:
• Driver must NOT have competed in any Open Points Races at Cycleland this season.
• Drivers must meet the Open Class minimum weight requirements.

📋 2026 OUTLAW KART SHOWCASE – EVENT FORMAT

The Outlaw Kart Showcase is coming up Monday, August 24th & Tuesday, August 25th at Cycleland Speedway!

Here’s how the two-night format will work:

⏰ HOT LAPS – 6:00 PM BOTH NIGHTS
Only the Open Division will Hot Lap.

🏁 MONDAY NIGHT – PRELIMINARY NIGHT

• Pill Draw will determine Qualifying Order.

• Heat Races will line up straight-up by Qualifying Times, with the Fast Qualifier in each Heat moved back to the 4th starting spot.

• 2 Heats: Top 2 from each Heat + Fast Qualifier transfer to the Wheel Spin.

• 3 or 4 Heats: Heat Winner + Fast Qualifier transfer to the Wheel Spin.

🔥 If the Fast Qualifier in the Heat Race wins their Heat Race from the 4th starting spot, they are guaranteed the best available starting spot in the Main Event.

• There will be NO Trophy Dashes on Preliminary Night.

• A Wheel Spin for all 5 divisions will determine the Main Event lineup for the top karts. Remaining karts will line up based on Heat Race finish.

🔒 The Top 6 finishers in each division’s Monday Night Main Event will be LOCKED IN to Tuesday Night’s Trophy Dash & Main Event!

🏆 TUESDAY NIGHT – SHOWCASE FINALE

• All remaining drivers will be placed into Qualifiers, lined up straight-up based on Monday Night’s Main Event finish.

Example: 7th place in Monday’s Main starts on the pole of Qualifier 1, 8th place starts on the pole of Qualifier 2, and so on.

• A set number of karts will transfer from each Qualifier into the Main Event. The number of transfers will be determined by entry count and the number of Qualifiers.

• Qualifier Winners/Transfers DO NOT advance to the Trophy Dash. They will line up behind the Dash Karts in the Main Event.

• Trophy Dash lineups will be determined by Wheel Spin for ALL classes.

• The remaining Main Event lineup will be set by finishing order in the Qualifiers, excluding the drivers already locked into the Dash.

We are currently solidifying the guaranteed payouts and will release that information as soon as it’s set!

For now, here’s everything you need to know about start times and entry fees.

🔥 TWO-DAY FORMAT 🔥
This is a true two-day event — Monday’s results will set the stage for Tuesday night’s racing! There are NO single-day kart entries, so come prepared for two nights of competition!

• Pit Gate Opens: 2:00 PM
• Driver Registration/Check-In: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Drivers Meeting: 5:30 PM
• Hot Laps Begin: 6:00 PM

Cycleland Speedway Rulebook Update

Effective Immediately

To maintain fair competition and promote appropriate driver progression through the divisions, the following eligibility rules are now in effect for all Cycleland Speedway events.

Driver Eligibility Advancement

A driver may not compete in a division that is more than one class below the highest division in which they have competed.

The following restrictions now apply:

* Any driver who has competed in a 250 Intermediate race is no longer eligible to compete in the Restricted Box division, regardless of age eligibility.
* Any driver who has competed in an Open Intermediate race is no longer eligible to compete in the Box Stock division, regardless of age eligibility.
* Any driver who has competed in an Open division race is no longer eligible to compete in the 250 Intermediate division, regardless of age eligibility.

Open Intermediate Exception

In the event that the Open Intermediate division is not scheduled to compete (such as during the Outlaw Kart Showcase or other special events), the following exception will apply:

* Drivers who are regular Open Intermediate competitors may compete in both the Open and 250 Intermediate divisions for that event.
* Regular Open division drivers are not permitted to move down and compete in the 250 Intermediate division under this exception.

These changes are effective immediately and will be enforced at all Cycleland Speedway events. The intent of this rule is to preserve competitive balance while providing a clear and consistent progression path for drivers advancing through the divisions.
