In October of 1991, Daytona Catalytic Converter was founded by Bobby Benincasa. Working out of the family's home garage, and mom's minivan as a delivery truck, Bobby went out looking for customers to sell to. After a rather uneventful week of sales (only selling four universal converters) and much second-guessing of himself, Bobby continued on the journey. Through the next several years, we constantly added product lines that our ever-growing customer base demanded, and in 1994, Rob, Bobby's son, joined the force. Being young and hungry for more sales, Rob worked with Bobby to add more lines and grow in more areas. In 1996, we opened our first retail store and grew our services there to include complete auto service as well as custom exhaust. David joined our ranks then as an expert exhaust installer as well as a mechanic. In 2003, we again added product lines now growing to become a complete full exhaust warehouse. The demand of our customers required the addition of new employees, so after selling our retail stores, David joined us as well as Dejuan and Bob to handle the needs of our customers. After outgrowing several warehouses, we have finally ended up in what we call home. Right now, Daytona Converter delivers throughout North Central and West Florida (with more areas to come) on a regular basis, carrying thousands of parts in our 20,000 + square-foot facility. We are now stocking brake pads, brake shoes, rotors, and many of your everyday items like PBlaster, WD40, oil dry, oil filters, antifreeze, transmission fluid brake clean and many many other items. We have only our customers to thank for our success and we look forward to caring for your needs for many years to come.
