Over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting a few “famous” people. Some of them were nice and more than a few were asses. But one person has on several occasions gone the extra mile for not only his fans but the people he works with. When my “NutherMother” Sandster was fighting he battle with cancer, this singer took time out of his day to record a special message to her. It meant the world to me and to her. Yesterday Country Music Legend Neal McCoy was performing at the fair and we chatted for a few minutes. Again something he didn’t have to do, but he did. Thanks Neal! And I hope we get to work together again some day.
