Running a field of 4 BMW E46 M3 in the Grand Am Continental Sports Car Series the team won the 2007 GS Class Championship in the hand of Jeff Segal and Team/Owner Jep Thornton.Automatic Racing goals for 2011 is running it's newly built BMW E92 M3 and taking it to the top spot!

We have mixed feelings after Race 1 of the Zenith Racing Series at Road America. While a P4 finish is a good result, a small mechanical issue during the race cost us a likely podium finish. Our crew did an amazing job with consistently fast fuel stops, and did a quick repair on the one problem. However, we lost just enough time to keep us from a higher finish.

Both Brandon Kidd Racing and Rob Pellosie drove a fantastic race, and put the car up front all race long. We had a long stint where we were P1 for a while.

The good news is that we are back at tomorrow AM for another 7 hours of racing. The race starts at 8:30 CT, and is available to watch on the Zenith Racing Series YouTube channel.

It's time forZenith Racing Series action at Road America this weekend!

Automatic Racing will be back in action for races on Saturday and Sunday, with Brandon Kidd Racing and Rob Pellosie handling the driving duties for us in the SEBECO MOTORSPORT NP-01. Road America is one the best tracks in the US, with it's long length and high speeds. It always produces great racing, so please join us by watching on the Zenith YouTube channel live!

Both races are 7 hours long, with race 1 starting at 9 AM CT on Saturday. Sunday's race will get the green flag at 8:30 AM CT.

We could jump on the bandwagon of posting an edited picture of the climbers and flag on top of the Empire State Building. Seems like that is the thing to do today. But, we aren't that clever (make that me, your friendly admin!).

So, instead, we will share another amazing Wes Duenkel picture of the battle between Tate and Ryan Persing from this weekend. And, we would never alter a picture to show things that really weren't there.

What an amazing weekend for Tate Pritt and the entire Automatic Racing team! Both races had tremendous action on track between Tate and Ryan Persing, and this great racing was highlighted on both of the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge broadcasts. Check out the links and time stamps below to watch if you missed it (or to see it again!).

Cheers to Ryan Persing and Paley Motorsport for the great and clean racing. We had numerous fans come up to us to say how much they enjoyed watching the on track action both days.

For race 1, Tate ended up in P5. For race 2, he was able to improve to P4. The car performed perfectly all weekend thanks to the superior efforts of the Automatic crew.

Up next will be another beautiful race track, Virginia International Raceway, in a few weeks.
