Originally a 25 year old Central Florida Pontiac club, but in 2016 welcomed Cadillac, GMC, Buick, Oldsmobile, Saturn, US based Holdens, and the Chevrolet SS! We do many other cruise events and activities. We hold our monthly meetings and member cruise In at BurgerFi in Altamonte Springs on the 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 5pm. We host our annual car show in March each year. This is a hu

ge event with lots of prizes and the most unique awards ever presented by any car show. It’s open to all Pontiac, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, GMC, Buick, Saturn, Chevrolet SS, and Holdens in the US

We work closely with our chosen charity “Pet Rescue by Judy”. We try to help support her at the various events she attends when space is available. We offer to display our cars to help draw attention to her booth and cause. While we get to enjoy the fun and introduce ourselves to people that might never come to a car show. We are active in the community and participate in the Winter Park Christmas parade. We also create events and activities for club members to enjoy. We have over the years taken trips to the Space Center, Cypress Gardens, Silver springs, The Sugar Mill, and the Central Florida Zoo to name a few. Isn't it about time you joined?

That time Pontiac had a Trans Am RV.

A unique GMC motorhome served as trackside headquarters for Firebird/Trans Am race fans It was the spring of 1976 when General Motors Design vice president William L. “Bill” Mitchell strolled into John Schinella’s Pontiac #2 Design studio to review future Firebird proposals. On his way out, he...

The worst day in Pontiac history came on April 27th, 2009, the day General Motors announced Pontiac Motor Division would be eliminated. Just over a month later, on May 30th, 2009, this photo was taken of a Pontiac salesman having a bad day. Then things went from bad to worse. Just a couple days later, on June 1st, 2009, General Motors filed for bankruptcy, leaving millions of GM shareholders out in the cold and throwing dealership owners into a panic.

Pontiac Motor Division began in 1926. Their sales remained steady for decades and Pontiac remained mid-pack in sales most of the time. Then in 1956 Pontiac was re-energized when Semon "Bunkie" Knudsen took over the division. In 1962 Pontiac moved into 3rd place in sales behind just Chevrolet and Ford. They remained 3rd to 5th in sales for the next several decades. In 1996, the unthinkable happened when Pontiac moved into 2nd place, surpassing Chevrolet, and became GM's best selling division for one year (they repeated this feat again in 2000). Sales remained steady until 2007, then a rather steep decline occurred across all divisions as GM struggled for market share. Right up until 2009, Pontiac had outsold Buick around 2-to-1, but when the decision to eliminate a division occurred, GM chose to shut down Pontiac. This seemed like a strange decision considering Buick had just 3 models in their 2009 lineup (Enclave, LaCrosse, Lucerne) and Buick sales totaled just 102,306 vehicles. But the decision to cancel Pontiac instead of Buick was based on the fact that Buicks were selling well in China (they had been producing Buicks there since 1999) while Pontiac had zero sales to China. The Pontiac brand was virtually unknown there. - MCN

This was once a highly debated trivia question. Officially based on public documentation at the time, the G3 Wave was the last Pontiac built. As is often the case, time slips on and new evidence is brought to light.

The last Pontiac was built in 2010. The car was never saved, instead ending up as a rental car and a daily driver before it got totaled five years later.

The first shipment of Australian made Pontiac G8's to arrive in the USA in San Francisco, early 2008. The G8 was based on the Zeta platform as used on the VE Holden Commodore and was available in three models, the G8 191kw (256hp) 3.6 Litre V6, G8 GT 269kw (361hp) 6.0 Litre V8 and G8 GXP 309kw (415hp) 6.2 Litre V8. Unfortunately the the G8 export program was a victim of the GFC which lead to GM's bankruptcy and the demise of Pontiac, just over 38,000 G8 models were produced from December 2007 until May 2009.

Production numbers:

13,991 Base G8s
22,629 G8 GTs
1,829 G8 GXPs

Country of Origin: Australia
