GM is recalling 1 million engines. Ford is doing same. Anyone who is my customer has been getting 4 decades of knowledge for their benefit. GM's is now bumping the weights of the oil to prevent damage & failure. I have been doing this since day one. I have been using high quality oils and premium oil filters since day one. My shop is not the lowest priced shop in the county for a reason. I will NOT install cheap or sub standard parts, fluids etc in your engine or on your vehicle. But hey you saved a few bucks & your engine now sounds like a cement mixer at 50k miles. You win at life huh ? I will be doing a yt video on the big situation "Engines & Oil" episode soon. In the mean time, this clip is spot on. Have never used any of these products listed because I never liked the sounds or smells after using them during experimentation. Most folks have no idea what is coming on the automotive / vehicle front. I have been watching this dumpster fire rage out of control for over 4 decades. It is a shame to hear this interview but I can agree with it 100%. So what options do you have as an owner ? #1 is to take care of what you got. 2. New is made to break. They do not care about service. They only care about sales. 3 The aftermarket may save the industry with fixes, updates and better engineering but this will require a huge shift in owners perceptions about independent shops. & What owners need to spend to keep their rides going.

I had a tire that kept losing pressure. The Toyota Dealership and Hardisons couldn't find an issue with it. I took it to Jonathan's and he found the problem with in seconds. He was very professional and resonable priced.
