We are looking for a Junior Service Advisor that has a great attitude and enjoys helping people. We have been in business for over 40 years and have a large and loyal customer base, we have done our best to take care of them and a big part of that is through our service advisors. They are usually the first person our customers see when they come in the door and the last person they see after the repairs have been completed. So, it is very important for us to find someone that likes to talk with people and cares about and understands their needs and concerns. We need somebody that is a self starter and wants to go the extra mile to help things flow efficiently, as well as somebody that is good with numbers and spelling. We also need someone that is trustworthy since they will be handling payments and money. We want someone that has a basic knowledge about cars and has the ability to learn and understand mechanical things.

The main responsibilities for this position include: answering phones and scheduling appointments, reviewing and spell checking work orders/invoices, calling and billing out customers, going over services performed, writing up estimates on simpler jobs, some minor sales, and other general clerical work. All of the details of these responsibilities will be taught on the job so it is important that you are good at learning new things. However, even with all of these other things, one of the most important responsibilities is to connect with our customers.

Sav-Mor Auto Clinic is a well established, family owned automotive repair shop that has had the opportunity to serve customers for over 40 years. As we progress into the exciting future of automotive repair, we intend on continuing to take care of our customers even with all the complexities of the changing modern vehicle.

In order to do this, we are looking for an individual to fill a Service Advisor position that is ready to build meaningful relationships with the customers we serve and is able to take the automotive complexities and explain them in simple and understandable ways. Over the years we have built trust with our customers from doing this. We make sure our customers have a clear understanding of what repairs are needed and why, as well as what repairs/services are recommended and why. We strive to inform our customers of these items and, with the help of our professional advice, allow them to decide on what they want done without high pressure or ‘fear’ tactics. There is plenty of honest work that needs to be done without having to manipulate or deceive, and we believe in doing what is right and let the consequence follow. So far, the consequence has been a successful business with loyal and happy customers.

We want someone that is honest and takes pride in their integrity. We want someone that has a passion for improving themselves and those that are around them. We will encourage and invest in your growth and development and want to see you become better everyday. We want someone that has a desire and skillset to help our business become better everyday. We want someone that takes initiative and accepts the occasional failure but learns from it.
We want someone that is not ‘just looking for another job’, but is excited in making a daily difference in what they do and wants to make a career out of it.

Some duties and responsibilities include: Customer service, sales, estimating, workflow coordination, quality control, answering phones, ordering parts, and improving technician efficiency.

At least 2 years of service advisor experience is preferred. However, if you do not have that, you need to at least have some automotive experience, and should be able to grasp and understand mechanical items and be a fast learner.

We are looking for an individual that enjoys automotive repair and would be excited to learn and grow with the automotive industry as it constantly changes. We are currently looking for someone that is willing to start with the basics and the simple things. Someone that would start out doing the maintenance work on vehicles, but is willing to learn and grow. We have been in business for 40 years and have a large and loyal customer base that we take pride in taking good care of our customers and their cars. So, we need someone that cares about doing quality work and cares about our customers and their vehicles. Also, someone that isn't scared of restocking a shelf or picking up a broom and cleaning up when there is down time. Here at the shop we have a lot of experience and knowledge between the technicians and the staff, so it will be a great place to learn and grow.

I am grateful to the many many wonderful customers we have. I'm grateful that many of them have referred others to us over the years including family, friends, neighbors and co workers. It really does mean a lot and it has allowed is to stay in business all of these years and hopefully for many years to come!

I'm grateful for the trust and loyalty that so many customers give to us! That is something Glenn gained through building a business on honestly and integrity. It is something I strive to never take for granted and am truly grateful for it every day I am at work.

I am grateful to my dad, Glenn, and his dedication to Sav-Mor Auto and our customers for nearly 40 years. He has taught me many things through the years, most of them just through his example. He has been a great blessing in many peoples lives and I am grateful to have had the opportunity this past year to hear stories from many customers about how he impacted their lives.
