Your radiator relies on a steady stream of fresh air flowing through to keep your engine from overheating in the summer. June is National Safety Month, and we want to share our favorite no-cost driving safety tip: The Three-Second Rule. ⏱️

When the car in front of you passes a fixed object (like a sign or a tree), you should be able to count to three before your front bumper reaches that same spot.

Why it matters to us: In stop-and-go summer traffic, tailgating is the #1 cause of fender-benders. "I was in Portland for work, 300 miles from home. 8 days into the trip, the car (2005 Subaru outback) lost power as I was driving away from a red light. Had the car towed to Mountain Tech Inc and they diagnosed the issue as a blown transmission. The shop was very upfront about there issue, with clear prices. These guys are no nonsense people. Unfortunately, for me, the car wasn't worth fixing. But now, I am in a rental and I am not sure what to do with the car, how to get rid of it, because it is sitting there in their parking lot. I mentioned the situation to the owner, DAN KUEHIN, who offered to take care of the car. What a relief!!!! Dan saved me from a lot of headaches and I for one, will never forget his kindness.
