The first photo is a clean engine after walnut blasting. All the rest of the photos are what your engine starts to look like after 40-50K miles on any direct injection setup.

Have you heard of walnut blasting? Direct injected cars (like this R8) need walnut blasting every 25-40,000 miles. The first photo is a clean intake valve, and every photo after includes the carbon buildup that happens over time. It kills your MPGs, throttle response, HP, and overall performance. You should be able to feel a big difference in power on a properly cleaned engine!

We also offer fresh O rings for new seals, cleaning the intake manifold that can get coated with oil and debris over time, and most importantly cleaning injectors. This R8 had 90K miles on it and the injectors were only firing at half their normal flow rate.

MPGs for this R8 went from 10 to 19mpg after this cleaning!
