My daughter is hanging in the shop with me today. We jumped in the *Don't Lose Focus* ran over to the gas station to get a snack, pulling in, there was a mid 80s Ford Ranger. Root beer brown with matching camper shell.

*Dad, check that out! It's a baby F150! How cool is that?!*

Henceforth, Rangers will now be known as *baby F150s*

(Odd that the Ranger and Explorer originated in the fullsize truck market)

For the purposes of confirmation, I measured the stuck piston rings (thickness) and verified the top ring at 1.2mm, second ring at 1.5mm and oil ring at 2.5mm. Specs check out for the L96 6.0, 4.0" bore. Ordered a set of Hastings standard replacements. Spares are always good. 🏁🏁🏁

Piston rings stuck in the ring grooves was creating some "compression" but definitely no vacuum for the intake process. Hooray for Bezos Brand. 🫪😅🫩🤌 #
