Found kittens outside? 🐱💛 Before stepping in, take a moment to observe and assess the situation carefully.
Check if the kittens appear healthy and try to determine their age. Very young kittens may still depend heavily on their mother, and she could simply be out hunting for food. If the kittens look safe and healthy, it’s often best to wait and see if mom returns.
If the mother does not come back or the kittens appear sick, injured, or in danger, reach out to OC Animal Care for guidance and ask about receiving a kitten kit to help provide proper care.
