The custom exhaust for the CTSV swapped 69 Camaro project is coming right along. We ended up having to cut the floors out of the car due to rust so that gave us a lot of freedom on how the exhaust can be built. We will end up custom building new floors to fit the CTSV seats and fit around the new exhaust.
The water cooled boat exhaust that we recently built is back from polishing and final install. They turned out amazing 🤩
Also pictured are some of the progress pictures and some of the craftsmanship that we put into the whole build.
We had a trailer come in this week that almost split in half up at the goose neck so we got it repaired and added gussets.
This S10 frame is coming right along. We already have the rear frame section fixtured on the jig. The front frame section got the old cross member cut out and a tubular subframe put in its place. We needed to make as much space available as possible to fit the big motor that we are putting in this thing.
No job too big and no job too small.
Walk in customer needed his handle bars repaired and straightened today so we got him taken care of.

Water cooled exhaust system for a twin engine race boat.
This was such a bad ass project that we just finished up with and one of the more challenging parts to fabricate that we have done in awhile.
Two sets of exhaust. 8 pipes fabricated in total along with custom hangars and mounts.
For those of you who don’t know most larger boats have to have these types of exhaust to help keep engine bay temps down and also maintain longevity of the stainless materials that the exhaust is made out of.
The inside pipes carry the exhaust gasses to the outside of the boat and the outer pipe helps keep the inner pipe surrounded by water during operation of the boat.
Our determination to build the most bad ass products that we possibly can doesn’t just stop with race cars. We just wrapped up this incredible fire hood feature in a beautiful Winter Park, FL home. We built half of this beast at the shop and the other half we built on site with our mobile services that we offer.

Chassis car just went home with:
- New Wing and dual parachute mount.
- Anti roll bar and battery cut off switch mounted

We appreciate Mr. Jimmy for entrusting is with his car and his life. Not only do we like things to look really good but our main focus is that everyone gets to go home safe. There’s a million things that play a part in that and we like to pay attention to them. Not just going fast.

Miss Jessica our office lady has been killing some new marketing material for us. 😍 Show season and race season is here and it’s time to get some fresh air. Me and the guys have been busting our ass off getting the new shop ready and functioning properly the last 4 months.

Last week Alex took a trip to Boca to help Eric with Florida High Performance layout his new turbo system and order all the correct parts.
Eric’s setup features a fully built LME 427 topped with a Frankenstein Engine Dynamics LLC intake and intercooler setup.
Once all the parts come in we will be building a custom set of 321 headers and custom turbo kit featuring a titanium hot and cold side.
Going to be one nasty machine 😈
Even though Performance automotive work has always been our passion, our slogan of “You Dream It We Build It” has rang true for many other areas of business and industry.
For instance, Our good friend and wheel repair partner Garret with Absolute wheel repair reached out to us to see if we could make a set of wheel racks that he could really maximize his time spent painting with.
He had some old racks that we based the rough idea off of but we refined that design and brought the final product to life with some fabrication and CNC plasma cutting.

One of the most underrated parts of any build is all the bracketry that has to be made to hold everything in place.
Anyone can cut a straight pieces of metal and drill bolt holes in them to mount something but here at Storman Performance we really enjoy making everything look like it was meant to be there and/or look much better than when it came from the factory.
That means designing, testing, building until we are happy with the overall fit and finish of each and every part.

We sold our first aluminum deck trailer this week so me and the guys are excited about that. This trailer couldn’t have gone to a better person, because this guy needed a trailer that would be big enough to fit his car on but small enough to fit in his garage. Includes dual pump mount and mounting fl**ge that we cut out on the CNC plasma table.
Welded some fittings on the side to make routing the new lines nice and easy.
Waiting on a rear end to show up before we add some more bracketry to this tubular back half kit we built.
Austin threw some paint on it to keep it from rusting and WOW 😍 is all we could keep saying once we test fitted it back up there 🤣

Fun little S10 project we are working on.
Just did the roll cage in it and here we are, just about finished up with widening the wheel tubs. Getting them spot welded in and then we are going to sand the welds down to look like nothing ever happened to get it ready for the body shop and paint.

Although cars have always been our passion over the years, the unique skills that we possess between our 4 team members here at Storman Performance has many other industries reaching out to us to help solve current problems and needs within their business. For example Pictured here is an electronics enclosure that a local fi****ms manufacture needed prototyped very quickly. They emailed us the file and we CNC plasma cut it, bent it, and welded the two pieces together.
Bryan Rice’s CTS wagon that we built for him needed a quick floor cover made so I did a quick mobile job for him at his buddies shop. Something simple but still well put together. Even made it all out of scrap metal I had laying around.

Here’s a 6 week transformation of a car that showed up to us in a million pieces that needed a little bit of that Storman Performance touch!
The to do list included:
- Retrim and remount the fiber glass doors, front end and deck lid.
- Mount, cut, trim, and paint all new lexan windows
- Build custom door panels out of aluminum and carbon fiber
- Mount shifter
- Make dual fire bottle mount with integrated battery mount
- Finish off headers
- Mount factory headlights in fiberglass front end
- Mount Parachute, Anti Roll bar, Wheelie bars and Wishbone.
- Mount Aluminum Kirkley Seat
- Build a high volume aluminum catch can
- Mount Aluminum radiator and weld water pump fl**ge on.
- Added a few other small tabs, and nick nack things, etc
Customer was so pleased with the work and turn around time that he dropped off his 70’s Camaro as soon as he picked up this 98 Camaro.
We appreciate the Business Mr. John! We can’t wait to see you make your first pass in this thing!

Started on some sheet metal ducting today for the Caddy Wagon. Trying to feed the custom radiator that we built as much air as possible.
Ordered all the best parts and built this custom Dual pass radiator for the CTS Wagon build. Still waiting on AN fittings to weld on but in the mean time we will be getting this mounted in the car.
Quick little pair of down pipes and waste gate tubes we put together for a turbo Air boat. We don’t like to send stuff out the door as some plain Jain pipes, so we threw some extra material on the end of the down pipes that we had laying around in order to get a tear drop end. That’s why they might not match as equally as the waste gate pipes do. Can only see one side of the boat at a time anyway. Time to get these shipped out to south Florida 🤘🏽
After quite a few hours we have a completed hot pipe for the CTSV Turbo build. If you scroll to the right you can check out some of the tube front end that we built for it as well. 😂
Here is yesterday’s wastegate merge all welded out. We are going to add two sheet metal gussets on each side to support the waste gate. Also will polish up the waste inlet just a little too remove the sharp edges and then it will get bolted up to the car in order to start fabrication on the down pipe and wastegate dump tube.
Little bit of waste gate mounting going on today for 1 out of 4 turbo system kits we currently have being built in the shop.
To run a turbo system on your project a lot of thought and effort goes into making sure the system gets built efficiently and also looks as well as it performs.
This kit will be receiving the new Turbosmart electronically controlled Waste gate and two Turbosmart Blow off valves.

We haven’t published much lately due to being slammed with work but here is some progress pictures of the LS swapped Porsche that we are building.
This car came to us as a fresh build so the first thing we needed to do is mount the motor and transmission into the car in a way that could not only support the weight of the drivetrain, but also support the power that it will make.
Once the motor got mounted we needed to focus on mounting all of the hard parts for the twin turbo system.
Right now we are finishing off the air to water intercooler so we can get it mounted in the car. Once it’s in there we will start running tubing from the motor to the turbos then into the intake of the motor.
Stay tuned for more as we continue to progress with this build.

Had to stop by BGB Motorsports to pick up some parts this morning for their cayman we are building and ran into the immaculate 911 that we had the pleasure of caging for them last year. Here it is all put together and finished out.
They will be running this car at Daytona International Speedway next Monday and Tuesday if anyone wants to see it in person.
Little update on the Cadillac wagon build we have been doing.
Our customer is really tall ( like 6’ 10” tall) so the factory seat mounts wasn’t allowing us to drop the seats as low as we needed them to be in order to fit the customer in the car properly. We cut the factory sheet metal out and made our own mounts allowing us to drop the Kirkey’s down another 3-4
inches. That may not sound like much but it makes a world of difference when it comes time to fit the customer in the car with a helmet and race gear on.
Along with the seat mounts we deleted a few interior pieces to simplify space and loose some weight. This includes deleting seat belts and their mechanisms, oh s**t handles in the rear, and sun visors up front.
All of these simple, but well put together details is what makes a good build great in the long run.
Mixing some carbon fiber and metal together today.
We are building a roll cage for a Turbo charged Cadillac CTSV and the factory seat belts are getting taken out, so we needed a nice filler panel to take their place.
We had a local Mazda racing team drop off some production runs yesterday and we just finished them up today.
