FlexBilt Customs is seeking a highly-skilled mechanic technician/installer to assist our custom truck, Jeep, and SUV builds. You be doing minor to mid-level mechanical duties, lift kits, leveling kit, and accessory installs (bumpers, grilles, lighting, side steps, etc. Most mechanical duties are brake jobs, alignments, wheels & tires, suspension work, minor exhaust, and tune ups.

To ensure success as a mechanic at FlexBilt, you should exhibit solid knowledge of safe mechanical performance standards, organization, and the will to get better as a mechanic. This job will expose you to as much as you want to learn about the business side, financial, and full service restoration including paint & body. Job is Mon-Fri from 8 to 5 or 8 to 4:30 (depending on if you want 30 min. or 1-hour for lunch)

Mechanical Responsibilities:
Having own tools a major plus, perform diagnostic tests on vehicles, Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns of all types, assist in ordering parts, must be organized, POSITIVE, and have a well-rounded personality. If you are a hot-head, negative, or just have an all-around bad-attitude, do not apply - you won't last a week. You will be expected to work a full 40 hours every week.

You will also assist in monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies for the shop, Maintaining a clean and organized work space, adhering to safe working conditions at all times is a must.

Mechanic/Installer Requirements:
HS Diploma, Associates degree or mechanic certifications a plug, minimum of two years' experience as a mechanic,
Proficiency in overall mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Great time management skills - you will get paid by the hour for all hours but they must be efficient and profitable.
Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours.
