Porsche Platica (translated “Porsche Talk”) is a weekend consisting of an open track day at Flatrock Motorclub on Saturday and a main show on Sunday, which draws fans of all things Porsche and RUF.

Located in Knoxville, Tennessee’s wedding venue, The Quarry, we displayed our RTR for the first time to the public, our BTR2 VIN001 and were joined by Merit Partners and Graham Rahal with their BTR 3.8 AWD AKA BTR4, GRP’s RUF SCR in Magenta, and the only Slantnose CTR1 ever made!

We had our new Sparco USA and RUF North America merch for sale and sold out of most of it, thanks to the incredible team at Harper Porsche and thanks to YOU guys our fans!

THE END OF AN ERA; the RUF RTR.   The body-in-white chapter of the RUF Automobile manufacturing book has been closed since the introduction of our carbon tub technology and with the RUF RTR, the send off of this chapter was executed with a pinnacle model.

One of only three narrow-body variants made. Today, the only known RUF RTR to hit the market becomes available. In superb conditions with over $25,000 in recent services by our own RUF North America service department.   The RTR is the most powerful RUF model offered with a manual gearbox. This 800 horsepower, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive monster awaits its next caretaker to tame it and this weekend at Porsche Platica, it will be available to be seen by the public.

Come see this amazing RUF RTR, May 4th at Porsche Platica hosted at the Quarry in Knoxville, Tennessee.

RUF North America is pleased to announce that we have found a new home to one of our crown jewels.

One of only two W09 Widebody CTR1’s made and a historic piece of RUF engineering. Our “Blackbird” was a late model build done for a special client finished in black over green with a truly remarkable build sheet.

Produced in 1993 at the tail end of the original CTR1 production line, this vehicle featured carry over technology available from RUF.

Using a widebody BTR W09 body-in-white the CTR widebody came to be and was ordered with integrated roll cage and six speed gearbox and its original Recaros from factory.

After meticulous research and a full restoration at RUF in Germany, the car was brought to original order specifications by some of the very hands that built the vehicle in the early 90s.

Showcased at Rennsport Reunion 7, accompanied by our CTR Anniversary and the Ruf family, this is a vehicle stamped in RUF and RUF North America history.

Sold and now going to its next caretakers home, this is not a goodbye but a see you again soon.

Reminiscing over another record breaking moment for our iconic brand.

Thanks to the team at Gooding Christie’s with giving the CTR1 the highlight it deserves. A true underdog, the CTR1 was nicknamed “Yellowbird” after its top speed shootout run where it won amongst industry giants.

Finished in Blossom Yellow just like the original Yellowbird, this CTR1 Leichtbau was a lightweight variant, built later in the assembly line, meaning it had a factory 6 speed gearbox in addition to the upholstered roll cage, light weight body paneling and is the lowest mile example to have sold yet.

With Alois Ruf present at auctions, this was monumental chapter in RUF history, one we are very proud to be a part of.

Just sold and staying in our sunny hometown of Miami, our RUF RCT Evo Restomod. A true RUF-built continuation of the legendary RUF VIN RCT Evo’s of the 90s, accompanied with its original RUF zertifikat, built on the original assembly line in Pfaffenhausen.

Equipped with the original RCT Evo drivetrain of 425 horsepower, our 6 speed gearbox, integrated roll cage, shaved rain gutters, new carbon fiber RUF lollipop seats, new carbon fiber RCT Evo bumpers, custom CTR1 (Yellowbird) quarter panel flares, and bespoke interior, this restomod was completed recently with recent services by us needing nothing but its next owner’s enjoyment.

Officially landed and now in its new home! This stunning RUF SCR was delivered this weekend during the Amelia Island Concours celebrations.

Accompanied by Alois Ruf himself, this lucky new owner was able to celebrate and enjoy the car this weekend, sharing it with the world on the lawn of the Amelia Concours on Saturday.

The transition that shifted the world; air to water. One of only 17 RUF VIN RGTs made on a body in white, our RGT is now available for its next home.

Being one of the rare moments in time when we manufactured a naturally aspirated car, the RGT was a leap in technology and production for RUF.

Homologated for the US, the RGT was the first W09 vehicle to enter the US direct to the consumer. Having been well cared for, our RGT benefits from recent services of full fluid flushes, all filters, new Michelin Cup2 tires, drive belts, and more, refreshed interior and excellent documentation.

Now ready for its next enthusiast to enjoy and share.

On display we had our latest CTR3 Evo, a legendary narrowbody CTR2, and our own RGT from our private collection. We’re glad to have been a part of this amazing celebration of all things Porsche.
