It was a very emotional day today as the tears ran down my face as I pulled into the track seeing all the cars lined up. I loved talking to all the ppl that came and supported Sloans Onondaga Dragway I heard many ppl tell me how Dan was probably smiling down at all the ppl😢😢Thank You to all the ppl that came and bought shirts from me even if they weren’t your size or color u just wanted to support us it means more than word can describe I have many mix emotions that many will never understand but my heart was filled with so much love today God Bless everyone that supported us today and over the yrs and Good Luck to the Sloans Thank You for allowing me to b a part of your first day

It is with another heavy heart that we have an update that we never wanted to make....
Due to the appeals, threats of new law suits, and the financial burden that all of this nonsense has created, the sole legal entity (Ray Comer) has decided he can't continue the fight and he is the only one that can make that decision. We at the New Onondaga Dragway appreciate all of your support throughout the years, financially and otherwise.
We know that Dan would not have gone down without a fight and we have done everything that we can without being a legal party. THIS BREAKS OUR HEARTS for our community, our racers, and more so for Dan and our racing family. None of this makes any sense to us.
We had engaged a respectful and generous person interested in buying the track but he couldn't take the risk due to the frivolous lawsuit pending.
The Pranshka family has taken several hard blows this past year from Dan's diagnosis, death, and now this.The Pranshka's and the New Onondaga Dragway staff have done everything they could have possible done to keep this track open for the community that they love and have so much vested in and more importantly for Dan's dream to continue on.
The NEW ONONDAGA DRAGWAY was and could have been exactly what people needed to keep young people from racing down country roads or city roads for that matter, having a safe place for all to race, and to be a part of a community that we have heard thousands of times was the best place to be.
Hold on to your memories, memorabilia, and remember how far Dan had taken us. This track is and always will be Historical. We are hurting, we are angry, and we are lost...
How can the voice of one person do so much damage to thousands of people? We have done exactly what we said we were going to do. However, without the actual owner of the property stepping forward and having no legal authority there is nothing else we can do.

****Please keep this in mind when commenting...we expect you to be angry (just as we are), but make sure your anger is targeted at the appropriate person and that would be the one who has continued this nonsense****

Everyone wants updates, we don’t know anything more than we did before. What we can say is Ted Stroud, the The New Onondaga Dragway attorney, is the beneficiary of the gofundme. He has received 100% of the gofundme and it’s direct deposited right into his account. If you click on the picture, you can see he is the beneficiary.

We know how frustrating this is....believe it.

Good evening everyone!!!
I just want to clarify some things. We understand more than anyone that you have donated money, shared our posts, put up fliers, spread the word to help support this fight for the track and you want to know what’s next.

You all have done an amazing job and we can’t thank you enough but we have to keep it up!

1. We don’t have a court date, when we hear of one, of course we will let you know.
2. I’m going to say this part with a very heavy heart....Dan is not here to handle this anymore, it’s not just as simple as “you should do this” or “you should do that” PLEASE understand that we have done so much behind the scenes and are doing everything that we can to save this Dragway and maybe it will pave the way for other drag strips!!!
3. Remember this is Marcie....I don’t even know everything that is happening ....my goal is to save this Dragway. 😀😀😀 The only way I know to do it at this time is to raise money for the attorney fees to keep him going.

As soon as there is any information that can be shared publicly, we will pass it on to all of you. Just know that everything that can be done is being done.

One man’s dream became the dream of an entire community...The longest court battle in Ingham County history may very well be coming to an end. WE NEED YOUR HELP. We have 7 days to raise money due to court deadlines for our lawyer to prepare to continue battling this case. If we raise enough money....
