Hey guys! Summer is here, and it’s getting hot out there! Make sure your A/C is up to the challenge of keeping you and your family cool! We are now offering A/C system checks and maintenance. If your A/C doesn’t seem to be cooling the car down like it should give us a call and let us check it out for you! Many systems have tiny leaks and over time the freon leaks out, the system will still work, but without the proper amount of freon in the system it isn’t able to cool as it should. We can fix that! We do a complete evacuation and recharge on your system! We refill it with new oil and the correct amount of freon to bring the system back to life! Hey guys! Here’s a few photos of what we’ve been up to lately! Lots of timing chain replacements lately. If you’ve got a vehicle that requires a timing belt remember that it should be changed every 60-100k miles depending on the manufacturer. It’s easy to forget about, but on many vehicles if it breaks it could destroy the engine. If you’re not sure if you need to replace yours feel free to give us a call at Second Chance Automotive and we’ll check it for you for free. It’s better to be safe than sorry! Timing chains usually last for the life of the vehicle, but there are some vehicles that they too need to be changed on, and we can help you with those as well.

Hey guys! Just wanted to share our latest photo dump showing what’s been going on over the last month. We’re here and ready to help if your car or truck needs some repairs! I think it’s about to get cold, we’ve been having some weird weather lately, it’s been abnormally warm, but I think it’s about to get cold, cold weather kills batteries and puts a strain on your cooling systems, we will check both for free to keep you safe, feel free to call or stop by.

Lately it seems like all we’ve done is head gaskets and timing chains, or complicated electrical issues! Who needs some brakes or normal maintenance? If you’ve got something that needs to be done give us a call. If it’s maintenance or brakes and you mention the key words “give a tech a brake…job!” I’ll personally discount the ticket! 😂😂😂

Lastly, for the folks that turned up at the county meeting over the landfill expansion plan, thanks for sticking up for the community. I think we can all agree we don’t want trash trains rolling into town.
