Having started auto body as teen in the mid 70's, my passion towards the American made muscle cars has always been a driving force in my every day life, that and its really cool when you can live life through the hobby you dig. Since 1978 I have had the passion for rebuilding “Detroit Muscle” one car at a time, and at nearly 250 plus personal cars under my belt, I will continue to build and strive for them to regain their status on the road once again.

kind of a surreal day, I had to say goodbye to the 70 Chevelle Super Sport. With the upcoming knee surgery and my never ending shoulder issues the owner and I came to the conclusion that there is no way I can meet the Spring deadline to get it completed before his daughter’s graduation in 2027. I Will hopefully still be able to help hunting down the needed parts and hidden gems in the catalogs, but for now I can only cheer on the progress after being sidelined and benched due to my injuries in need of repairs.

well this makes sense.
Last Monday I could not walk, I spent the entire day locked down on the couch with an ice packs… Tuesday wasn’t much better as I spent they day with dry heaves somewhere between the bathroom and the floor.
Between the heat and limping everywhere I go I finally found out today that all the years of working on cars and home improvement jobs has taken a toll that created a bone spur around my knee that snapped off and is currently floating around and getting stuck between the knee joints.
Sadly the soonest I can get in won’t be for about three weeks.
Good news is that recovery is shorter that a total knee replacement ! ! !
Meanwhile if you see me hoping around you’ll know why.

My son used AI to clean my garage, redo my floor and fix the cars… hell it even gave me a new tool box and lighting ! ! ...
