It’s been a MINUTE since I seen a strut do this!! I’ve only seen it a few times. Left rear strut. Self service customer fixed it himself!

2015 Dodge Dart in for a rattle on cold start. Found a weak timing chain tensioner, so it got the beans! All gooder now!

Barely ran when it arrived. Engine light was on with codes P0106 and P0506 which lead us to remove the valve covers to find cylinder 4 exhaust spring broken. Customer opted to just replace all 16 valve springs, seats and caps.

Customer had a very hard brake pedal making it hard to stop. The booster wasn’t getting any vacuum from the vacuum pump....

Customer had a very hard brake pedal making it hard to stop. The booster wasn’t getting any vacuum from the vacuum pump. Turns out there’s a vacuum pump bolt that screws into the end of the camshaft that had snapped off. We were able to extract the broken parts and replace the bolt and vacuum pump and brakes work properly again!!
