This is it. Starting in March, Mike will be an employee of BMB. Please spread the word. We need the phones ringing so we can justify having them hire Mike. Call 402-571-1957 and ask for John. This weekend we're moving "stuff" to the storage unit and cleaning the shop. It's going down to the wire but the Lord will help us.

Just keep shredding...just keep shredding. Ugh. Twenty-eight large trash bags later and we are done. It's be a looooong day. Letters went out today with details about where Mike will be working. If you don't get your letter by midweek next week let us know and we'll mail another one. Hopefully, we have current addresses for everyone. We did our best.

We are excited to announce that Mike will be an auto tech at BMB Auto, LLC (they're located in the same building as our shop) starting in March, 2021. They buy, sell and repair Asian cars, mainly Hondas. If your Asian vehicle is in need of repair, please give them a call at 402-571-1957. Ask for John. Be sure to let them know that Mike sent you. (They will do some light work on American cars depending on what needs to be repaired.) If your American vehicle is in need of repair, we highly recommend Haver's Auto Repair at 402-281-4400. Again, let them know it was a referral. Thank you.

One more car to be picked up and the shop is officially closed. Even though we're "retired," we'll be here for the next couple of months doing taxes, paper work, cleaning, putting things in storage, etc. Thank you to our faithful and wonderful customers who have put up with us for 30 years. Mike is fairly certain where he'll be working next and we will send letters once it's 100% confirmed. God bless you. It's a wrap.

We still have some openings from December 16th through December 23rd. It's your last chance to allow Hofer's Auto Repair, Inc. the awesome privilege of serving you and your car. Reminder, starting in March, 2021, Mike will work at another shop. (Probably part-time but, of course, Mike thinks a 40-hour work week is part-time ) We'll keep you posted once we have more details. We're not closing the business due to hardships. After thirty years, we're retiring (at least I am).

It is official - after 30 years of serving the Omaha community, Hofer's Auto Repair, Inc. will close its doors on December 31, 2020. We will take appointments up to December 23rd. Give us a call soon because the schedule could fill up quickly. Thank you to all our loyal customers. It has been an honor and joy to serve you. Mike will work for someone else starting in March, 2021. We will provide you with further information (name of service manager, telephone, address, etc.) once that date gets closer.

FYI The shop will remain closed until further notice. I will be in and out every day but we aren't taking appointments at this time. Mike decided to join the COVID-19 club. He is doing well. Tuesday will be two weeks since his symptoms surfaced. He's now in the recovery stage but it will be another couple weeks before he'll be back to work. Keep yourselves and your family protected. This is one ugly virus.
