I’ve never been a fan of fixing dents on a Jeep door.

We had to gut the whole door just to get access behind this deep dent. We couldn’t get a tool on this dent because of the outer door handle bracket.

All said and done this dent came out perfect!

Here’s a dent on a bodyline of a lift gate. This lift gate was hit hard enough to create a high spot.

In our industry we call these crowns. Crowns are shockwaves caused from the energy transferred between the two objects.

Crowns add an extra challenge to the repair process. If the crown and the deep dent aren’t addressed properly it can lead to a bad repair.

A little throw back Thursday. I fixed this dent a few years ago. Another body line dent, and another panel saved from being painted.

Fixing dents that someone else couldn’t fix.

In the first picture I circled some high spots or “push marks” where someone tried to fix this dent.

Without this previous attempt this fender could have been repaired to 💯

During our repair process we had to remove the headlight and the front grille. This allowed us to gain access behind the dent.
