She was visiting Sioux Falls and noticed her wheel was overheating and her brakes weren't right. She booked thinking it was the caliper. When we got there and ran the diagnostic, it wasn't the caliper at all — it was a brake hose causing the brake to lock up and overheat. We could have rescheduled her and sent her on her way. Instead we tracked down the part, came back, and got her road ready that same day. She made it home, didn't miss work, didn't have to spend another night in a hotel. That's the job. directbrakes.com

Sometimes the car can't come to the shop — so the shop comes to the car. This customer's brakes were too far gone to safely drive anywhere. Called us, we came right to where they were parked, got the job done on the spot, and they drove home safe. That's the whole point. You shouldn't have to figure out a tow truck or beg for a ride just because your brakes need work. We come to you. directbrakes.com

She booked front brake pads and rotors on her Honda Crosstour. When we got there and inspected, the rotors were still in good shape — no need to replace them. So we didn't. We only did the pads and charged her accordingly. We're not a shop behind a glass window trying to hit a ticket average. We tell you what your car actually needs and that's it. If it doesn't need it, we're not going to sell it to you. That's just how we operate. directbrakes.com

Rear brake pads and rotors on my boy's Ford F150. Same service, same quality, doesn't matter if you're a friend or a first time customer — everybody gets the same treatment. Pulled up to his spot, got it done, back on the road. If you've been putting off your brake service because you don't have time to sit in a shop — that's exactly what we're here for.
