Insurance companies may RECOMMEND a repair shop — but the choice is always yours.
After an accident, many drivers don’t realize they have the legal right to choose the collision repair shop they trust. Some insurance companies push customers toward “preferred” or “DRP” shops that work directly with the insurer, but you are never required to use those shops.

❌️ You DO NOT have to shop around for quotes for your insurance company. Thats THEIR job not yours.
✅ You can ask questions about repair quality and safety
✅ You deserve repairs done correctly — not just quickly
At the end of the day, it’s your vehicle, your safety, and your decision.
Before agreeing to repairs, make sure you: • Research the shop
• Read reviews
• Ask about certifications and warranties
• Choose a shop that works for YOU — not the insurance company
Don’t let anyone pressure you into a repair facility you’re uncomfortable with.
