4th place (Backwards) at The New London-Waterford Speedbowl last night🥣

The night started with a rain delay that pushed everything back a few hours, so we didn’t get on track until around 9:30 to 10:00 PM. Then in practice, I spun and we had to make a few repairs before feature time.

We started on the pole and went back and forth throughout the feature. The No. 22 was handling great and we put ourselves in position for a strong finish towards the end of the race.

Then came the final lap, when coming out of Turn 4, I got caught up in a spin and ended up crossing the finish line backwards. Not exactly how I drew it up, but I guess you could say I pulled a Ricky Bobby or Ryan Preece

After everything that happened, from the rain delay to the practice spin to the wild finish, we’ll gladly take a 4th place finish and head into the next race with momentum.
