THE PEOPLE BEHIND BIG O TIRES: BILLY
When you stop by Big O Tires in South Olathe, there's a good chance you'll be greeted by Billy. A proud member of the Olathe community for the past 10 years, Billy loves the area's energy, vibrant outdoor dining scene, and the strong sense of community that makes it feel like home.
Billy never expected a career in the automotive industry. A former employer encouraged him to give it a chance, believing he'd be a great fit—and it turned out to be exactly right. Today, Billy enjoys helping people solve problems, making their day a little easier, and building relationships that often turn into lasting friendships. For him, every customer interaction is an opportunity to earn trust and make a positive difference.
Fun fact: Billy is the proud grandfather of an amazing little boy. He also has a passion for theater, loves traveling abroad, and enjoys experiencing foods from different cultures.
Outside of work, Billy is committed to giving back. He volunteers each year with a local high school's theater program, building stage sets and supporting the school’s weekend sporting events. He and his wife also volunteer with their local food pantry, serving neighbors in their community.
If you asked Billy what he hopes guests say about their experience at Big O Tires, his answer is simple: that they found a clean, friendly, and welcoming store where the team genuinely cares about people and takes the time to get to know every customer.
Neighbors serving neighbors—that's what hometown customer service is all about.
