Unfortunately today we had to say goodbye to one of our family members/my oldest child, otherwise known to many of you as our shop dog Izzy. Many of you knew her as the one to greet you when dropping off or picking up your vehicle. She was possibly the one responsible for drooling on your freshly pleated slacks before you went to work (again, I am sorry for that). More importantly she was the one to brighten our day, not only mine, or the kids, but many customers that we consider friends. In the recent weeks, she had grown increasingly needy for petting and loving from customers that stopped by and now we know why. I and many others believe that is a sign that they know their time is coming to an end. She passed graceful early this afternoon and the kids and I buried her at her favorite place to roam - Home at the farm. She will be greatly missed and just remember if I or the kids seem to be a little bit grumpier or not as cheerful, it is only because of the hole her absence leaves in our hearts. Rest easy Izzy.
