Marketing Internship Spotlight: Ciara Connors
We're taking a moment to celebrate Ciara Connors and her journey through our Marketing Internship program.
Ciara graduated from Rockhurst University this past May with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. Over the course of her internship, she grew tremendously in her editing skills, going from carefully scrutinizing every frame to working with real confidence and trust in her own creative instincts.
Ciara points to the World Cup rental campaign as one of her proudest projects - her first long-term campaign, where she balanced humor and informative content to reach a wide range of audiences. She also grew her skills in Google Analytics, learning to track how her content performed, including videos that reached 30,000 views across multiple platforms, and to connect that content directly to website traffic and lead generation for the dealership.
Ciara's advice to future interns: build your own experience, whether through real projects or self-driven campaigns, and use that work to grow your portfolio.
What stood out to Ciara most was the culture here at Oakes - the friendly relationships across the team and the opportunity to grow alongside people she could build lasting relationships with.
