This brand new Ford Performance WhippleCharged F150 came in for some new jams to match the go-fast under the hood!
First we use software to tame the OEM audio control module to get rid of SOME of the ridiculous equalization.
Then we converted the oem 4 speaker system to the 6 speaker layout.
Custom adapters are designed and 3d printed in house for all locations.
Then we went to our friends at MSC America (
Brax, Helix, Match by Audiotec Fischer ) & KICKER for the best gear on the market.
Helix Amplify 206 dsp/amp churning out 190w to each ci5 200mm door woofer, 150w to each ci5 80mm dash mid and 100w to each ci5 25mm tweeter.
Helix Amplify 201 mono amp is providing 600w to a Kicker L7T 10 d2 housed in an MTI Acoustics bts custom ported box.
Both amps are hidden under the passenger seat on a CNC cut hdpe board with a NO DRILL install. Easy access for maintenance and just showing the goods is always a top priority.
A 3d scanned, designed and printed housing sits within the center consol tray to give total digital control at the driver's fingertips, including total volume, sub volume and tonality via the Helix conductor.
After the install is complete now come's the critical tuning work;
- We don't just start turning dials, guessing at this and trying that on a whim...
1- We attend ongoing psycho-acoustics and tuning classes allowing us to extract every last penny of your new audio investment.
2- We check the input signal to the dsp and work out any eq and anomalies via the analysis software.
3- We set delays with impulse responses for pure precision, set EQ with RTA, double check phase cohesion with the dual FFT ability.
4- We then sit in the vehicle and add the salt and pepper by ear.
5- We then allow YOU the customer to hang out for an hour and we can curtail it to exactly how YOU want it to sound.
That's how we do it.
