It was our pleasure having the Spirit Lake Middle School students at Parks Marina! Thank you for the kind note and for sharing their memorable fishing stories. It means so much to know the students enjoyed their time with us and made lasting memories out on the water!

Last month we came back to Okoboji from the Cobalt Dealer Meeting with two awards in hand. We felt proud and honored to have received this recognition, even more so after the Cobalt Boats team gave a special dedication to Butch.

"So, before we get through this one, I wanted to acknowledge the tremendous loss that we all suffered this year with the passing of Butch Parks. Butch was not only an industry icon and an absolute gem of a human being, he was also one of the main characters in the Cobalt story. So let's give a moment of silence and then raise our glasses to a man that touched so many and a life lived to the fullest."

To Chase and Cobalt Boats, thank you. Butch always said "boating keeps families from drifting apart" and we are so grateful to work with a team who cares about creating moments that last a lifetime.

Can you believe it's already October? Check out our fall newsletter here ⬇️🍁

Fall in Okoboji was always Butch’s favorite time of year. It’s harvest time, the golden colors are out, the birds are migrating and there is a special camaraderie of smaller groups and visitors in the Lakes Area.
