We set an all-time annual revenue record for 2020 and grew 135% over 2019! That's the last thing we expected when, this time last year, Rich left his secure job and we shut down operations and moved all inventory and equipment from Ed's garage to a vacant building 30 miles away in hopes of expansion. Here, the bucket of water that cooled the laser would freeze and we had to set up patio heaters indoors to keep warm. Despite that, the increased footprint (and low rent thanks to a very special family) allowed us to plan out and build administrative, fabrication, soldering, assembly, QC, and shipping stations that would be critical in shaping how we did business in our current facility. Pandemic and supply chain issues notwithstanding, we set a company sales record for May. Then, in June, the building in which we had just gotten comfortable was sold and we had to move AGAIN to a new facility. We brought on our first official employee (Hessie) a month later, developed an accelerated production schedule, and proceeded to set two more sales records in October and November. We couldn't have done any of it without our supportive families and Billies, nor our passionate Sparked customers and dealers who believe in what we make! This is Sparked Innovations' third year in business and Rich's first year with the company full-time. Lots more records to break in 2021!
