As part of our commitment to quality automotive service and repair, we invested in air conditioning for the shop space! This helps keep our team on their A+ game by providing a comfortable environment to work in.

This Oklahoma summer heat and humidity will beat you down fast inside a metal building… and a worn out, overheated technician is not happy or productive, and that is not who we want servicing your vehicle!

So if you stop by and it looks like we are closed down, we are probably just trying to keep it cool inside, so come in, hang out and enjoy some AC 🥶 😊

At BrighTech, we use and trust BG products. This GMC Sierra had an internal bearing failure, so it received a used engine. We performed a BG EPR (Engine Performance Restoration oil treatment), MOA (Motor Oil Additive), and 44k fuel system treatment with a full tank of ethanol-free gas to give this used engine the best start on its new life.

If you’ve been by the shop recently, you may have seen Daisy. She’s our sometimes shop-dog. She lets me know when she wants to go to work. Usually 2-3 times a week she comes with. She is an expert door greeter, and general morale booster around the shop. If you see her, say hi, and give her some head scratches, and you’ll have a new best friend!!!

When the dealership couldn’t address the owner’s concern on this 2022 BMW 430i, the owner brought it to us, confident that we would find the root of the problem.

In this case, a failed engine mount was causing a heavy vibration at idle, and a noise on startup.

It’s not always scanners, data, and science. Sometimes it’s a matter of careful observation and not being dismissive of the primary concerns of the vehicle owner.

While the timing cover and valve covers are being cleaned in our heated aqueous parts washer, Ernest Trautmann has gotten the timing chains and phasers removed, and cleaned the mating surfaces.

Since we have to remove the timing chain anyway for this water pump replacement, the client opted to replace the chains, guides, tensioners, and phasers, as this engine has 120,000 miles on it, and those are known failure points and Ford has updated the phaser design as well. We don’t want to have to do this job again any time soon, so we are being proactive - a very smart move.

Another heavy-line day for us today. This 2018 Explorer needs a water pump replacement. The pump on this 3.5L Ecoboost engine is driven by the timing chain.

While this job can be done in the vehicle, we believe the relatively small amount of extra work to remove the engine is worth the benefit of having total access to ensure a quality, leak-free repair.

If you do it with the engine in the vehicle there just isn’t a lot of room to work for torquing bolts and guiding the timing cover back in without disturbing the sealant.

Going the extra mile during the repair means we can 100% guarantee our work and stand behind the repair if there are problems down the road within 3 years or 36,000 miles.

Heavy line day at BrighTech. Vehicle needs the transmission replaced. Also, the owner broke a water pump bolt in the timing cover, so we will extract that while we have access!

Today we celebrate 1 year of business! I have so much gratitude for everyone who has helped us along this path. It’s pretty incredible that we started from zero and in a year have built a thriving repair shop.

With everything I have, THANK YOU to every guest that’s come through our door, every friend who’s recommended us, and every family member who’s trusted us. It all means SO much!

Tomorrow we are DOUBLING our floor space! We will be going from a 2,450 square foot shop to a 4,900 square foot shop!!! Same location, we are just taking over the other unit of our building. This means double the parking and double the work space. That allows us to service even more vehicles, and it frees up our scheduling some.

We will be investing in more equipment like lifts, potentially an alignment rack and tire machines. My goal is to be a 1-stop service shop where we can handle every need in house. For all the exciting things to come, thank you again!!!!
