“Sometimes a reset starts with trying something new.
This weekend at Round 8, Kevin McMichael will be set up to help introduce Ride 2 Reset. An emerging initiative built around a simple idea: using motorsports to create connection, confidence, community, and a positive outlet for those who may need it most.
Ride 2 Reset is being developed to introduce veterans, first responders, and others to the world of off-road riding. Not by putting them on the starting line, but by giving them a safe, welcoming opportunity to experience what so many of us in this community already know.
There is something different about putting on a helmet, throwing a leg over a motorcycle, and focusing on nothing more than the trail in front of you. This weekend, we'll begin sharing that experience.
With support from GPXC and Ajax Motorsports, Using an electronic motorcycle with a low seat height, no clutch, no engine noise, and low power settings: Ride 2 Reset will be providing an opportunity for individuals 18 and older with little or no riding experience to learn some basic skills and discover what riding is all about.
No racing. No pressure. No experience required. Just an opportunity to ride.”
