Not easier. Better. Store by store. Market by market.

This year at our annual GM Conference, we raised the bar again with our 2026 theme, Beyond Better, and the point is simple: Better is no longer the goal. Better is the baseline.

Group 1 Ford of Southwest Houston, Beck & Masten Kia, Genesis of Southwest Houston, and Sterling McCall Acura teamed up with Child Advocates and BEAR to make a meaningful impact and bring joy to children who need it most.

This week, Group 1 contributed $300,000 to the Building Hope Campaign in support of the new Texas Tech Health El Paso Fox Cancer Center. As the first comprehensive cancer center in West Texas, it will transform cancer care in the region, giving patients easier access to the advanced treatment they need.

Under general supervision, The Forklift Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of automotive products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, Raymond stand up forklifts and dock loaders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Promote safe work environment through personal actions.
Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner
Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage.
Take inventory as needed.
Direct product to correct area in warehouse.
Clear work area of loose wood and plastic and debris and sweep area as needed.
Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Minimum 12 months’ stand up forklift experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
Ability to work in a Warehouse environment
Raymond Forklift experience helpful
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Possession of a valid state driver’s license

We are always looking for great people to fill our many Parts Picker roles at our Warehouse. Starting pay starts out at $10/hour and goes up from there based on experience and if you can operate lift equipment!
Hours typically are from 9:30am until all orders processed. And we make it fun the entire time!
