Oklahoma harvest update....yes, we are still here 🙃 we haven't even binned any of our own seed wheat yet. The wind has been blowing for the past 48 hours, which has let us start earlier but we are still up against ground that we can't get across. Surprisingly we haven't seen any sprout damage but there is plenty of shattered wheat around from all the storms we have had. This harvest has definitely taught us some patience, which can be a hard one to accept when we all want the usual fast-paced harvest hustle and bustle.

3 generations of harvesters...the last 2 days we have had late starts due to the moisture but we are rolling. Warmer and dryer days are on their way and hopefully we can start cutting before 3pm.

The chuckwagon delivered it's first meal of the season. Dry wheat in wet fields is the boss' report today. 🙃

Faye and I along for the ride...this is Wade's first year running cart. We are so proud of him and his maturity with this job. He is attentive and knows this is a big responsibility. He is doing awesome!
