Next weekend is a BIG one for We Are Oglesby and we
could really use the community’s help!

🗓 SATURDAY, MAY 16 - TAG DAY - 8am-12pm
We are looking for volunteers to help in ANY capacity
and ANY amount of time helps! Even a one-hour shift
can make a huge difference.

🗓 SUNDAY, MAY 17 — Memorial Park CLEANUP
⏰ 9:00am – Noon
Help us freshen up one of Oglesby’s most meaningful
spaces. Bring gloves and a willingness to help! We will
provide other necessary tools.

We are ALSO searching for resources, contacts, or
guidance for restoring the cannon and helicopter at
Memorial Park. We have already exhausted city
resources and are hoping someone may know
individuals or companies experienced in:
• Military display restoration
• Sandblasting & painting
• Metal restoration
• Structural repair
• Veteran memorial preservation

If you can volunteer, donate time/materials, or connect
us with someone who may help, please message us.

It takes a community to keep Oglesby shining!
