❌️ '16 Ford 6.7 Powerstroke going back together with a fresh set of new heads and ARP hardware!

❌️ '12 Ford 6.7 Powerstoke came in with a handful of ABS related fault codes. Followed Ford OE trouble shooting for a no communication code with the ABS control module. All steps checked out good, so the last step was to replace the ABS control module. No, we didn't like that answer. There was not one mention of circuit verification in the troubleshooting steps. We tested all powers and grounds to the module, and only one ignition power circuit was unaccounted for. Fuses are all good, so now wire tracing begins. Didn't take long to find the culprit! The sub-harness loom, which stores the ignition power circuit, rubbed through the insulation and caused the wire to corrode. Quick wire repair and this guy is back on the road!

❌️ '15 Chevrolet 6.6 Duramax.

Customer recently had about $5k in parts installed for a P0420 fault code, only for the exact same fault code to become active again the very next day. The local dealership wanted to charge him an additional 3k for an improperly diagnosed diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC). We diagnosed a failed indirect injector. Saving our customer over $2k at the local dealership for a repair that would NOT have solved his problem!

A simple flow test is all that was required to verify the indirect injectors health.

In the 1st photo you will notice the aftertreatment fuel injector % is at 48% and EGT 2 (directly after the DOC) is only at 829⁰F. On a healthy system EGT 2 should read about 1100⁰F +/- 150⁰F. This high temperature going into the DPF is what burns the trapped soot and converts it to ash.

The 2nd photo shows a properly functioning system and temperatures after installing a new indirect injector.

❌️ First 5th Gen Ram cab off for our shop! This '19 6.7 Cummins is in because another shop misdiagnosed an oil leak at the front gear case and replaced the oil pan gasket instead! 🤦‍♂️

❌️ '07 5.9 Cummins came in for an engine replacement. It didn't take too long to figure out why!
