⭐ Review of the Week — Odessa

“The gentleman at the back desk working in parts was super helpful helping me pick out a starter set of equipment … I will definitely be back here as my business grows”
— Michael E., Odessa ★★★★★

Michael, thank you — and congratulations on the growing business. Michael walked out with a starter set of equipment somebody had actually thought about. Helping a business get set up is one of the best things our parts counter does, and nobody rushed it. That's Odessa.

Thank you from all of us at Everglades Equipment Group – Odessa! 💚

You've probably driven past one of our stores a hundred times. Green sign, a row of tractors out front, on to wherever you were actually going.

Here's what you'd find if you pulled in.

A parts counter with a person standing behind it. Aisles of belts, blades, filters and chains — the stuff that breaks on a Saturday when nothing else is open. A wall of Stihl saws and trimmers. Oil, batteries, safety gear. Hats, if your kid needs one.

It isn't all tractors. And you don't need an appointment, a purchase order, or a reason. You can just walk in, look around, and ask somebody a question — that's kind of the whole point of having 19 of these across Florida instead of a warehouse in another state.

We've been doing it this way since 1963. Come see us sometime. 💚

Your machine won't move, and you don't own a trailer. That's the part that stops people getting equipment serviced — not the repair, the ride.

You don't have to solve it yourself. We move machines on our own trucks and trailers: that's one of ours in the video, with a compact tractor chained down on the deck.

Before you call, have three things ready and the whole conversation gets shorter.

1. Your MODEL — it's on the hood or a side decal.
2. Your HOURS — off the hour meter. Service intervals are counted in engine hours, not months, so two people who bought the same machine on the same day are rarely due at the same time.
3. What it's actually DOING — won't start, won't lift, leaking, making a noise, running hot.

With those three we can usually tell you what's likely, what it will need, and how to get it to us.

If you're cutting and baling hay between Florida afternoon storms, the tractor that saves the day isn't the biggest one on the lot. It's the one that still has something left when the baler loads up and the clouds build.

That's the case for the John Deere 6130M. It's rated 130 hp — and it finds 20 more when the job asks.

That's Intelligent Power Management, and it's standard. Running a PTO implement on the move or hauling down the road, IPM adds another 20 hp on top of the 130 it's rated for. On PTO work it starts feeding that power in once you're past 0.6 mph; in transport it comes in above 9.3 mph. Nothing to switch on, nothing extra to buy — it's there on the passes where you actually need it.

· 130 hp rated (96 kW) — 150 hp with IPM
· 101 hp rated PTO power (SAE)
· 4.5L John Deere PowerTech PSS, dual turbochargers in series
· 24-speed PowrQuad PLUS standard; AutoQuad PLUS, CommandQuad PLUS and AutoPowr IVT available
· Cab or open station, 12,786 lb base machine

The 6130M is built to order, so it gets specced to the way your operation actually runs — hydraulics, transmission, loader, guidance. Our Large Ag team will walk it through with you and tell you honestly where the money is worth spending and where it isn't.

Zero percent. Eighty-four months. On a tractor that does the job you actually bought it for.

The 3025E with a 300E loader is $23,990 cash, or $319 a month at 0% APR for 84 months. No interest for seven years — every dollar goes at the machine instead of the financing.

And it is the whole 3 to 5 Series ladder, not one unit:
• 3025E + 300E loader — $319/mo
• 3038E + 300E loader — $399/mo
• 4044M + 400E loader — $479/mo
• 4052M + 400E loader — $499/mo
• 5075E Cab — $699/mo

Every 3 and 4 Series package comes with a factory-installed loader, and all of them carry John Deere's 6-year powertrain warranty.

If you have been waiting for the payment to make sense, this is the one that does. Call (561) 363-5035 and we will tell you what is on the lot near you, or come walk one.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ REVIEW OF THE WEEK

Armando walked into our Naples store knowing exactly which part he needed — he just didn’t have the part numbers. So John and Tara pulled up the website and the parts diagrams and went through them with him until every number was right.

"I knew the part I needed but didn’t have the part numbers, and they took the time to walk me through their website and parts diagrams so I could identify everything correctly. They were always easy to reach, never ignored my calls, and even provided tracking updates for my order. On top of that, their prices were better than what I found online."

Thank you, Armando. 💚 Sixty years in, that’s still the job at the parts counter: take the time, get it right the first time, and be easy to reach when it matters.

Half a part number and no idea where to start? That’s exactly what we’re here for. Come see us at any of our 19 Florida locations, or call (561) 363-5035.

Congratulations to the 2027 class of the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame.

Jeff Gargiulo spent more than 40 years in produce and grew his family's tomato operation into one of the largest in the world, while giving back across Southwest Florida.

Lynetta and Ken Griner have put three decades into timber and cattle, and into teaching the next generation. Ken is a past president of the Florida Cattlemen's Association.

Ron St. John started Levy County Dairy in 1986, built Alliance Dairies into a major dairy business, and has mentored plenty of young people in agriculture along the way.

They'll be inducted February 9, 2027, at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. Well deserved, all of them.

Who's someone in Florida ag you think belongs on that list?
