We wanted to let the community know that Julio Salazar passed away peacefully Sunday morning in Seattle. Julio Salazar put up one hell of a fight!! We are so proud of him! Julio was so kind hearted, a loving father and a family man! His family was his life!

The Salazar’s are our family not by blood but by heart. We are just heartbroken. Julio worked for us all from age 14-19 or 20. 💔

It is with great sadness I announce the death of Steve Whitecotton. Steve worked for us for seventeen years. He was a dependable, loyal and honest. I will forever be grateful for his help the last few years. ❤️😢❤️

To Our Very Valued Customers,
I have sold Gehrig’s Chevron. It is very hard to even write that message. It is time for Joe and I to move forward and allow another family to serve you. The Rodriguez Family will take over tomorrow, July 30th at 5 p.m.
At this time, I do not have any details as to how the station will continue to run. I do not even know if they will be open next week.
We want you to know how much we have appreciated your business and friendship. I used to tell Butch, that if he worked in an office somewhere we would never have been blessed with so many good friends. You have walked with Butch and I on a forty-year long journey. 75 years for the Gehrig Family. You have given us comfort in the hard times and celebrated in the good. Please know we will miss you. Our business relationship may be ending, but may our friendship never end.
When Joe and I walk out the door Friday evening, we will walk with Butch, Rudy, Margaret, Harold, Charlie and all those who made Gehrig’s what it is. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We want you to be included in Butch’s final journey.

Public viewing will be this Sunday, February 21 from 9 am to 6 pm at Anderson’s Tribute Center.

His Funeral Mass will be live streamed by Anderson’s Tribute Center on Monday, February 22 at 11 am.

If you would like to join us for the burial, it is Tuesday, February 23 at 11 am at St, Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Due to Covid, we will spread out all over the property.

You all have been a big part of his life.
We plan to reopen after this is all finished. Thank you for your love, prayers and friendship.

We lost Butch this morning. He loved and appreciated his community. We will not open this week. When we have service plans we will post them. Thank you all for your years of love and support.
